Our History
Established in 1997, we are a family owned and operated “beef and hot dog joint” bringing a taste of home to Chicago transplants living in Colorado. Chicago #1 is a “haven for displaced Chicagoans” and part restaurant, part museum.
Our Menu
At Chicago we offer a variety of Chicago style sandwiches, including Chicago dogs and Italian beef made from Joe's grandmother's recipe. Our menu also features Pizza Puffs, Vienna Corned Beef and Pastrami, Hand Pounded Breaded Pork Tenderloin, Jay's Potato Chips, Matt's and Salerno Butter Cookies, and Fannie May candy. Don't forget to try the Green River, a staple at our restaurant.
